Announcing the 5th Agile Governance Symposium, taking place in Tokyo and Kyoto on 3 – 4 April 2026. Organised by Kyoto University Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of Law and Policy (KILAP) and Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu, the Symposium will explore the role of business in dealing with internal and external risk.
You won’t be surprised to hear that I will zero in on making sense of an organisation’s culture and how it influences ethical behaviour.
I will also share some ideas from Christopher Hodges’ OBE new book, Regulation That Works, that relate to the importance of cooperation to achieving desired outcomes. These concepts build on those Chris and I explored previously in Ethical Business Practice and Regulation.
So if you happen to be in Japan and can take time out from viewing the cherry blossoms, please join us.
